What aspects of health in your life need improvement?
We all have seasons where some aspects of our wellbeing take a back seat. The truth is, when one component (physical, mental or spiritual) is out of alignment, it starts to take a toll on the rest of your health.

Physical Health
It's no secret that 30 minutes of exercise a day helps you maintain physical fitness. Variety is key. Start by walking 20 minutes everyday with 10 minutes of stretching. If you're not ready to get a gym membership, cycle through at home workouts (my go-to) that exercise your abs, legs, butt, back and arms. Have a set day for each, and then have a day or two set aside for a long walk.

Healthy eating is also a key factor in physical wellness. I will discuss clean eating in my blog. However, it's important to know that everyone's body is different. I personally see a nutritionist and muscle response testing doctor to maintain the right diet. Dieting is not meant to replace sustainable eating habits.

Mental Health
Mental health is often overlooked, but it's important to regulate daily. Thoughts and feelings are what drive our behaviors, which is why mental health is defined as how we think, feel and act.

In our lives it can be hard to squash every negative thought that goes through our minds. I believe, having a source to give your fears, anxieties and burdens to is vital to a quality life. 1 Corinthians 5:10 says to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. This means to make your thoughts obedient to who he says you are, not how the world or circumstances try to define you.

Additionally, having people around you that love you, stick by my side and challenge me are essential to your mental health. It's not good for any human to go through life alone. If you find one or two great friends to walk through life with, you're setting yourself up for success.

Spiritual Health
To maintain good spirituality, you need to connect with God everyday. Similarly to eating food everyday or grounding yourself with positive thoughts and surrounding yourself with good people, communicating with God is essential.

God is a friend, a father, a provider, and He fills the holes that people or circumstances can leave in your life. He sent His son to die for you and He loves you!

To maintain a great connection with God, I recommend praying and reading your word every morning. Give God the first 15 minutes of your day and see what happens. It may feel like a chore at first, but then when you start to see the benefits of it manifest in your life through Christ , you will want 30 minutes to an hour with Him whenever you can!

Spend time with Him as you would a friend and talk to Him :) He wants you to confide in Him and He never leaves you!
